Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Space Mugs (the "Service") and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order or uploading a photo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What we sell
Space Mugs sells a custom 15oz ceramic coffee mug featuring a composite image of your likeness rendered as a NASA-style action figure on a lunar background. The price displayed at checkout is the total price you pay; free shipping applies to addresses within the United States.
2. Photos you upload
By uploading a photo, you represent and warrant that (a) you have the legal right to use the photo, (b) the photo depicts you or a person who has given you permission to use their likeness for this purpose, and (c) the photo does not contain content that is unlawful, infringing, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable. We may refuse to fulfill, and may cancel and refund, any order at our sole discretion if a submitted photo violates these terms.
3. License to your photo
You retain ownership of your photo. You grant Space Mugs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, modify, and reproduce the photo solely to fulfill your order (including generating the action-figure composite, sending it to our print partner, and retaining records of the completed order). We do not use your photo for marketing without separate, explicit permission.
4. Production and shipping
Orders are typically produced and shipped within 2–5 business days of purchase. Shipping times after that depend on the carrier. We are not responsible for carrier delays, incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout, or packages marked as delivered by the carrier.
5. 30-day guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your mug for any reason, contact us within 30 days of delivery at getspacemugs@gmail.com for a refund. You do not need to return the mug. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6. Intellectual property
The Space Mugs name, logo, site design, illustrations, and example imagery are owned by Space Mugs and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. The composite artwork generated from your photo is provided to you for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) attempt to disrupt the Service, (b) submit photos of people without their consent, (c) submit content involving minors in a manner that could be exploitative, (d) use the Service to harass or impersonate any person, or (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the composite will exactly match your expectations; the action-figure rendering is a creative interpretation of your photo.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Space Mugs' total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Space Mugs is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
